I have a 2001 xc 600 last year was great on fuel, approx 13 to 14 miles per gallon.
This year have a hard time to get 9 mpg.
I am running 410 jets 2 sizes below stock.
The air box is always wet and oily after use.Power and speed is ok just using a way more fuel than normal.I have check carb settings and now I am stumped.
I would be thankful for any help.

Sounds like maybe your needle valve is getting stuck open and some gas is going back into your airbox while riding. I'd say check your needle valves and maybe your float's in the bowls.
