I am planning on putting a fusion seat/tank setup on my sled. I have a tank, which now I am thinking its off of a 700/900 fusion, the fuel pump sender is on the left side as I would be sitting on the seat. I need to make a block off plate for the sending unit. I checked with my dealer, the gasket kit(gasket and 7 screws) is $35, if it was a 600 fusion tank it would be $6. What material can I use for gasket material that will be ok with the gas? For those that don't know, the sending unit is in the front of the tank so with a half or more tank of gas the block off will be under gas.

EPDM rubber. If you have a local flat roof contractor near by they would be able to get you a 12" square piece of 60 or 45 ga rubber . I have used this for Marine and sled gas tank gaskets.
