Yeah i had the same problem with mine. I just went and got a new cap for it. They only cost like 10-15 bucks.
I see one here for $5.95 CDN without a guage.

Keep in mind fuel tanks have to vent and some are vented in the cap or right under it. Do you know where your vent is located? My Mountain Max has a tiny little tube near the filler neck that spills when its really full and I'm on an angle. Hell and I smoke too. Never really bothered me of course I haven't lit myself on fire yet.

also check to make sure that the fill neck is not cracked at the bottom. my dad's EXT was from the last owner. it makes me cringe when I think of what must have hit the fill neck hard enough to crack it.
Well, tape always works. I have some friends that do that. Try hockey tape I guess, they say.

I would go to your local dealer and tell them what kind of sled you have and they should be able to hook you up with one right away if you go to the artic cat dealer.
Its kind've like buy a new belt for your sled
Neck cracked? Fill with epoxy.

He who loves not his country can love nothing
ok guys i fixed it!!! you guys will appricate my repair since im a plumber i got a toilet tank ball and cut it so the taper fit right to the edge then sliped it over the gage part so it still works but the taper is toward the tank so splashing fuel is diverted back into the tank instead of around the seal, it works great i grabed the sled a shook it voilently and not a drop!!!!, before id a lost a bunch of fuel, im not sure what was using more gas the carb or the leak? but my home remedy has cured that problem!

Very creative! Say... did you by a new toilet ball or was it a used one? My brother is a comm. plumber too and he some how never has to pay for that stuff. Hmm.... go figure. Of course I never really want to touch ANYTHING USED that comes out of a toilet, personally.
