so i wanto go from a 121 track to a 144 if i use 7 or 8 tooth drivers i shouldnt have to gear down should i? i have 9 tooth now

what size track are u trying to turn? lug height? motor size??


i have a 99 xc 600 141" with a 2" paddle. that i went from 9 tooth down to 7 tooth drivers(had to to clear the front cooler), and then switched the stock gearing from 22/40 to 20/41. doesnt have top end, but as lots of low end.

Yes, what sled are you doing this to? I have a 99 xc700 with a 144 and the stock gears worked good, didn't change drivers.

well i have a 96 ultra but i just looked at 2000 xcr 800 i think ima buy! so a whole new project
