22/39 74 chain is 99.95 mph
23/40 76 chain is 101.88 mph but is not recommended

Usually NR is a gear combination that the chain is to snug or so long that the tightener can hardly take up the slack.
Just because you can get the gears and chain into the chaincase doesn't mean they will work without problems.

The chart says 22/39 is a 74 chain. Either one must work fine.

yeah i know what you mean -- like less pull off the line

so i think im gonna go with

Gearing 22/39 76 chain
EPI pro clutch kit
Power commander V - pre mapped from dynotech

I think that will give me that wild pull of the line and that monster corner to corner action im looking for -- and im guess ill hit the 100mph top end pretty damn fast --

yea it takes more power and more torque to get the same kind of pull, same concept with car gear's, a piar of 4:10's will walk away from a set of 2:73's for the first 1/4 mile but watch the 2:73's go 175+ [thumb]

Depending on what tooth drivers you have. You are already geared to 110.7 mph @ 1:1 with 9 tooth and 123 with 10 tooth drivers

Here is a handy calculator also, it does not tell you what pitch chain to use for given gear combo's but it a pretty cool calculator to have on hand.....
