24-38. doesnt that motor spin around 7500 rpm?

that should be a reasonable gear for trail riding. I run 25-38 with an 8700 rpm engine for trail riding on a short track and 24-39 with a 144.

I just changed mine to 24/37. I cant' wait to try it. 24/38 is supposed to really work well together. It saves belt and some people have had increased speeds due to the clutches shifting out completely.

Many discussions on gearing at www.hardcoresledder.com in the fusion forum.

oh ya. triple. just kind of doing a comparison in my head and on the screen. 24-38 gearing seems pretty slow unless they have 10 tooth drivers.
