Anyone else having problems with the gen 2 brake switches? I need to replace mine and am wondering if I can buy that little microswitch or do i have to buy the whole plastic housing to get it?

If you can get it seperatly I'd love to know the part number if anyone has it available..

Usually the brake switch that takes a crap is the one on the caliper.

There is only one brake light switch on my sled and its in the handlebar pod. the switch would not work at various times last season, either stick on or not work. I know the switch is messed up, i just was wondering if its a common problem and if i can buy the switch seperatly.

I just looked at partsland skematic for a 00' triumph and see where the switch is. Looks like it is in a tricky location and not cheap $50.

I have never had one of these go bad on any of the sleds I work on. Is there any way you could spray some cleaner as it maybe sticking.

I have a 01 600 RMK, so this part number should be good, Polaris part number 4010157, $50.74 US list. Hope it helps.
