I am trading my 1985 Kawasaki 440js with mods and trailer for a 1992 xcr 440. The sled looks to be in very good shape 6000 miles on the body but 600 on the motor. Lots of new parts sled looks very nice for a 92. The only thing the sled needs is a new windshiled. Its just gonna be a back of sled or a extra one.

Were thse sleds fun and are they good?

I just sold my 98 xcr 440 (red rocket) for 950, and the shocks needed rebuilding and the track wasnt to good. Mine had 3000 miles though and was the best xcr 440 made. It had the first VES motor polaris put out. I would say since yours has higher miles 500 bucks or less, but thats what I would price it at.
