i just picked up another 1980 invader 440 brought it home worked on it got it running and was going to go in and license it today hasnt benn licensed in 12 years ok DMV said bring bill of sale and serial number off the body well when i went to get the number half of it is not readable "sticker is worn out" does anyone know how i can get around this or is it hopless"

It should also be stamped into the tunnel,near were your right knee would be should say SS400A3-yourserialnumber
