Twins on a Small Block 800 are great mods, a true 13-16H.P is gained, not really on bottom end, but mid range & top you REALLY feel/see it. And the sound is un-touchable. Those pipes are one of the better brand for pipes for a 800.MXZ700SKS700 said:Thats funny because I have been weighing my options about twins because I'm on a budget for this one but the whole reason I want to upgrade is to get that top speed. Sucks being in a remote Alaskan village with 5,500 other people. For some perspective a gallon of milk cost $10 up here.polaris1man said:Check with your locals, clubs, etc for rebuilding of your shocks, shipping charges would be huge going out/in from Alaska say from UPS/Fed-X.MXZ700SKS700 said:Whats going on?
I'll either need to get my shocks rebuilt or buy used. Do you guys know any good shock re-builders? Any idea what it might cost for 2 Ryde FX fronts & one rear Fox clicker? It'll probably be about the same as buying good used ones but I'm on a budget for this project so every dollar saved helps.Thanks.
I hear you about buying used, that's what I worry about. Is there anywhere I can get a how to on rebuilding?fusionshuk06 said:IMO your best bet is to rebuild yours. You can go buy some used shocks but you may end up having to rebuild those too after a few miles.
Awesome, I'll check it out here in a minute. My idea was to buy some stock shocks & put them on my 700 & take the Walker Evan clickers (700 will be for sale after 800 is ready). Would you go with stock/Ryde FX(non-clickers) over Walker Evans?jesse500 said:http://www.diamondshocks.com/
all info (costs) on site.
Rebuild your currents, Ryde-FX and Fox clickers are the best clicker shocks on the market. Walker Evans suck.
MXZ700SKS700, you want some real power in that 800? http://www.hardcoresledder.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=486416
There's enough info there to keep you going for a long time! LOLMXZ700SKS700 said:Well maybe if his prices are good & the shipping's not too crazy it may be worth it if he's good. How can I get in touch with him?Dragon700 said:i know a guy cheap as can be, but there is one problem. he is in Minnesota, little ways from you..... he did mine twice this year (NOT his fault), and i couldnt be happier.
Awesome, I'll definitely check those out. Thanks Jessejesse500 said:Some things you may want to read MXZ700SKS700:
