Yeah, just paint them. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new ones.

Nice sled!

Yeah, yellow trailing arms would add so much to it. It looks great now, The yellow would be a great finishing touch tho.

Very nice lookin' sled! I am wishing now when I bought my 5 I would have got the 600, but I was looking at resale. My dealer was telling me that the smaller sleds sell faster, and with the cost of insurance I figured I would take the 5. Well with the snow conditions lately nothing has much resale value lol. Love the sled so if I keep it another year I might drop in a 600.

thats what i almost did, i got a buddy that wrecked his 2000 xc 600 ves, and i almost put it in my 500, but then my uncle told me that duluth lawn and sport had 8 carry over sleds from last year 2002 xc600sp, so he ended up buying a new one for me and we traded sleds.. worked out nice [:D] my sled had like 440 miles on it so it was basically new. plus he got a skid plate and some other yellow parts i didnt want to take off.

Paint the trailing arms for sure, or better yet have them powder coated yellow.
It sure finishes off the sled nicely.
