just bought a set of powermadd hands guards for my RXL wedge chassis.. and the hit on the hood... do the hood wont open right.... any body have them on ther wedge chassis?.. if u do.. can u tell me how u got urs to let the hood open right??[:I]

i got 'em on my xr. sorry but you gotta loosen them up every time to open the hood. you can usually open the hood enough to fill it with oil though.

Put those bars up in the air and you would have no trouble....LOL!!!

You could tilt your handlebars back a little bit.

yea,..DAN8485 i was measurin' and i think a 2 inch riser will solve this problem..

yeah i had some hand Gard's on my old xcf 440 if you don't have bar riser then you have to loosen them every time but i had bar risers so i never had that problem. i would say buy a bar riser and it will fix your problem. i had a 3" bar riser

bar riser. i have to move mine on my v-max. i cant get much more rise out of the bars. so next year i'll just put rivot and fly bars. different bars could compansate yoru problem.

turn your bars all the way to the left when you want to open the hood, worked for my friend last year.
