Got a 1993 Polaris Storm 750 that we can't get the light to work on it at all ,,
the wiring was checked yesterday and seems fine. Had the voltmetre on the connections and when i touched the slot for the light ,, it worked ,, the light turned on.
But when i plug it in and start the machine ,, the light wont work at all.
I tried the other slots on the connecter and all the light/indicators/warnings worked fine. Only the headlight.
Any ideas on to what is causing this?

I have had the same thing happen. Check the ground wire on the head light. Make sure it is a good solid ground. Your voltmeter is acting like a groound potential that why it worked when you used it...[8D]

When you hook the meter use the ground slot in the plug ,that will tell you if the ground wire is good back to motor. If o.k., change to ohms and check through bulb (plug unhooked).
