Hi, i have an '89 Mx 462 liquid. I just wondered if u have to have a battery to run the electric visor.

I think i have the cord that plugs into the visor but both adapters are the same, like they cant plug into each other. Is this actaully the cord thats for the heated visor or is this another cord that should be plugged in somwhere??

Hey,

That cord does sound like the one for the visor and no you dont need a battery. You need to get a replacment power cord. Dennis Kirk has them for $9.99 part#21-280.

no, you dont need a battery to run a heated visor, you do however have to wire it into your snomobile electrical harness to power it. you will have to find a wire that is 12v constant, but i dont think you want a wire that powers your headlight or taillight.
