Allright...To go straight to the point... How does the steeper the angle effect the clutching?

How doe it work in those progressive helix's?? The lower (or higher) the first number causes what? and the same for the second number?

I've been told that a 40/32 Helix and a SLP Black/blue spring will do wonders for my sleds perfromance (96 Ultra SKS)... and since I've sunk some money into re-ringing the engine and pulling the track out to 136 x 2" with extrovert..... I'd rather do an upgrade on the Secondary rather than just putting in the same (new) parts when I rebuild it. As for the Primary I've got a brand new Polaris clutch with 10AL Cam arms and a blue spring which I'm going to give a whirl.

As for rideing style... It's mostly mountains and deep powder... we ride the trails only for access (so minimaly)

Thanks for any input!

Here is a link to snowtech magazines explanation of clutch tuning.
http://www.snowtechmagazine.com/articles/clutch/cltchtun.html
It should explain exactly the question you are asking.
Hope it helps
