Hmm, it may be stuck. I am not sure if there is anything else holding the pipe down on that machine besides the springs. I dunno, give it a little force when pulling it out. I really don't have a solid answer here, I don't own that new of a machine!

I JUST HELPED A FRIEND TAKE HIS EXHAUST OFF OF A 2000 XCSP 600 AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE WERE FIVE OR SIX SPRINGS HOLDING ON THE MUFFLER AND THE SAME FOR THE PIPE. ONCE ALL OF THE SPRINGS ARE OFF THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING LEFT HOLDING IT IN. I NOTICE THAT THEY WERE QUITE SNEAKY AND HAD SOME SPRINGS IN NOT CLEARLY VISABLE LOCATIONS. I WOULD DOUBLE CHACK AND MAKE SURE YOU GOT ALL OF THEM OFF.

maybe chck for some bolts holding it down, baybe some sort of a stabilizer around the brake caliper/chaincase area, older polaris had a bracket for support of the tailend of the exhaust in that area, just a thought, exhaust usually comes apart very easy on a polaris, that is if you removed all the springs
