I have an opportunity to pick up a used '96-97 MXZ 670 for only $800. From what i have heard so far, the sled is in average condition and runs good.

My question: is there something wrong with these early model 670's??? I have seen several older 670's in the paper, and they are all super cheap! Why is this? Is there something that is a common occurance or problem with these engines?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Go and look it over if all looks good then grab it up. I have heard they go like crazy.

A buddy of mine has got a 97 670 MXZ, I swear when he goes riding with us he spends more time under the hood than riding! It could be he's a retard or he could have got a lemon....His just seems real touchy, I want to say he's only got around 3000 to 3500 miles on it.
