hey guys, I am trying to post a little snowmobile video of mine on here but when I try to upload the file. It says it is too large. Erick, I saw you have one that is a little over 3MB and mine is 2.98MB. Can you post such a large file because you run the site?? what is the limit for a normal user?

Yeah, he runs the site...

I run a service for the larger files...

you can FTP them to ripperd2.dhs.org (l/p: sf/sf)
make a dir for yourself.
it can be accessed at http://ripperd2.dhs.org/ftp/XXdirnameXX/XXfilenameXX.XXX

ripperd2, think you could elaborate a little more on what you said about your service for larger files? I am pretty good with computers, but I don't really know what you mean... thanks.

FTP... File transfer protocol. Using a program such as WS_FTP or CuteFTP, login to the host "ripperd2.dhs.org" with the username "sf" and password "sf".

There you use your program to create a directory with your username, and then you upload your files to that directory.

Then, they will be accessible via a HTTP link, to the above url, as described.

For instance, I store some of my own files there, in a dir named "admins". say I upload a file named "bigbores.asf" to that dir. An HTTP link to the file would be: "http://ripperd2.dhs.org/ftp/admins/bigbores.asf". This just happens to be an interesting video too :)
