I thought it was interesting. it will make you think. One or two of them look like death machines. Would like to see some video of them...

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Some of those look pretty intricate. Someone had to some mechanical knowledge to put some of those together. That doesn't mean I would ride them.[;)]

Just looking at some of the pics, sure looks like some of the ideas for snow travel when snowmobiling was in it's infancy here in the the good ol' USA.. maybe in about 100 years we'll see new Russian snowmobiles the likes of what we have today technology-wise.

There are some pretty good ideas in those sleds, and like posted, they are a lot like the sled that first came out in the 50's and 60's. Pretty cool though.

I think that is why they had that picture of that huge farm bailer/combine?
I'm guessing they scavange a lot of farm equipment for parts; conveyors,belts, gears, etc...

yea, probly beats spending so much on a new sled to them. lol whatever that works i guess.

Hahaha...Matt... It's the "Hippie Snow-bus"

I don't think those are flex-skis;)... Holy crap, those things must weigh a ton. Again I would like to see some video instead of stills.
