Hey guys, I just fiberglassed a crack on my hood, and I was wondering what kind of paint to use. Also when I fiberglassed it the first time, I did it on the outside. But when i went to sand it to make it flush with the rest of the hood, it all came off. So this time I did it on the inside and everything looks good. If I just pour some resine on the front in the crack. Will that be strong enough?

Thanks.

okay, and the hood has a kind of glossy look, what would I use to match that?

I'm no paint expert but it can be extremely difficult to blend paint. Do you have a professional air paint sprayer? If not you need to pay to have it painted. The glossy comes from the clearcoat

no I don't have anything but a tray and a paint brush.... But I do have an air compressor, maybe I could rent a paint sprayer. If not its okay. Its just covering samll crack that I fiberglassed.. It's not worth that much money to me.
