hey guys i just picked up a set of hooks and am wondering at what angle you have them pointing? if you are standing to the side of the sled to what number on a clock are they pointing to?
id think when u face end of bar... 3-4 o-clock and i trim my brakelever if its long style.. makes it easier to have part of hand on bar and still 2 fingers on lever and have that full range of motion... u can always cut and bend them also
Duct tape much like the force... it has a light side, a dark side.... and it holds the world together!
I saw in a catalog somewhere that they make round knob-ball looking things that you can use to enhance your grip instead of hooks. They look like they'd be handy for sidehilling and breaking powder, and they probobly won't hurt as much when you gore your leg into the bars after screwing up the landing from your monster air!
Nice thing about hooks over the bar ends is that hooks give you a little more distance to hang your a$$ over the side of the sled. Bar ends don't extend the bar at all. Still better than nothing though.
