Can you guys give me some incite on these sleds found one for sale from one of my dads co-workers. Sled had a rebuild prior to last season, usi skiis, handle bar riser, studded track, and guy will take 1000 bucks. Oh and i forgot to say its got a heated shield plug which makes me think that the sled was babied because if he was jumping and all that it would be weird to have a heated shield connecting your helmet to your sled.

My friend had one a few years newer. He modded the crap out of it, just absolutely everything you could do to it. It was one of the fastest sleds around. Only sleds i knew that beat him were high cc sleds, like my 700.
That said, they are light, nimble and fun. Sounds like a reasonable price, especially with rebuild.

If it has been snocrossed, check around bulk head under engine. They are known to crack. Two of mine did on the mag side of the engine. Both were visable with the engine installed. More so when removed. Mpg @ 5-10th tops, mine were 7 and 8. No oil injection unless.... I loved mine.

I think 9MPG is about the max you could expect from it, maybe less. If its in really good shape I would say go get it, should be a fun sled. I would not mind having an older 440 race sled myself to play on.

The how-to for it is somewhere on DooTalk.

Keep up on jetting and easy on the throttle in the trails and you could see 10mpg. Otherwise your looking at 5-8.

not sure about it, the pipe closest to the nose has a huge dent, shocks are of at zr 440 sno pro, ran nice and all but idk, seat was ripped, good compression, but needs a new track a bunch of pullouts but paddles are fairly bent.
