I would say an 1", 144 or 192 would give you the best option, if you don't want to run outside row studs I would get a 192 pattern and just leave out the outside row holes. But deffinatly put in some heat exchanger and tunnel protectors if you do stud.
I would say 1" would be satisfactory, maybe something a little bigger/taller. I believe I had 144 studs on my F3 600, but it still spun like a bat out of hell. The studs were VERY wore down though, so who knows how well it hooked up with decent studs. 144 good studs should suite you though...
I have 1 inch, and I did go with 192 with a double V pattern down the middle and it still spins off the line. Regardless how I setup the weight transfer this thing gets blown off the line. Thats why I'm wondering if a longer stud would work better. But how much longer can I go?
