yep thats how fast my uncle said he had his up to and i have the sled now , ive only had it up to 100 but it was still climbing, just didn't have enough lake left and it was like 25 above that day
87 indy 600 improved stock. 114.95 mph. in 1200ft.
I said 100mph. My ZR doesn't have that great of a top end, plus the speedo's are usually off, so it'd probably be close. My F3 I've had read 110 on the speedo with a little throttle left. I don't ride the F3 that much though, so I don't ever vote for that sled, I use the ZR. [;)]

I'm looking forward to checking that sled out next winter.
And of course some [BeerPull][BeerPull][BeerPull][BeerPull][BeerPull][BeerPull] (six packs)
Doesnt 110 seem a little fats for a 600cc sled??? I always figured around the 100 mark about tops on a 600.
zrt 600 - 110+? (Ran out of room and got scared)
my ZR 600 will do about 100-105, ive had it 97mph with a 20-30 mph wind in my face. so that made a lot of differance in speed.
Sorry, And XLT 600 wont go 110, More like..95 in GREAT conditions

Iv had my 96 XCR monoblock going 97 on radar SCREAMING WFO accros the lake for about a mile..Tucked, vents taped and lowered[:)] Its clutched with some neato purple things[8D]
I went 95MPH on my 1995 XCR 600 in a corn feild about a 1/2 mile long. It has a DG canister and a clutch kit.
If you pipe those 600's, which I don't recommend for all of them because some don't have the extra oiler, you can gain quite a bit of horsepower. I don't have a 600, but I do have a stock XLT 580 and it did 100 on the speedo, probably more like 85 to 95 though.
I've had my speedo buried at 120mph on my 2000 600xcsp. Whether speedos are off or not, that's what it said and its as accurate as the next. That 2000 600 polaris has got to be one of the faster stock 600 twins made. It regularly beats up on bigger sleds. My 1990 mach583 speedo reads 95 at my top speed.
Mine's a ski-doo 583 and I'm just guessing at the top speed since the speedo broke, mabee 95 mph?
I have had my 2000 Gen II 600 116mph on speedo (109 gps) across a few lakes here in Maine. No motor mods, just a few tricks and spot on clutching. The sled is a rocket!

Those sleds were the fastest 600's for a long time. They still aren't much slower than anything today.
2002 Polaris XCSP
Hot Seat Chubby Pipe
V-Force 3 Reed valves
Hi Flow Air Box
Hot Seat Matched Clutch Kits
105 MPH
I ditto that
