how many shims should be on my jackshaft behind my secondary its an indy trail 488fc took it all apart cant rember where the shims are too but do any body have a sled like this and be able to count how many there is so i can get her back on the snow. also how much slop should be there somebody told me it should be solid .no back and forth movement is this true.

the shims behind the secondary help align the clutch to the front clutch. basically if you take a straight edge from the back side of the front clutch. it should go over the secondary clutch by 5/8".
