Guys,

I have an Arctic Cat EXT 580 (carb). I don't have a service manual, i would like to know how much should i torque the primary clutch attachment bolt to.

Thanks,

don't quote me on this but I think it should be around 55 ft/lbs? Anyone does this sound about right?

You just have to snug up the clutch in the back (secondary), but I think it's about 70ft/lbs (for the primary), but get some more opinions.

Just call up a Polaris dealer and ask the technicians. I sometimes call them and ask them specs. on certain things. They always answer.

I know the torque spec on the primary clutch bolt on my XCR was either 50 or 55 ft/lbs. It's been awhile since I torqued that thing.

My Polaris, Yamaha and Comet all share at 55ft-lbs.

The 50-55ft lbs is correct for all models but Ski Doo. They are 70ft. lbs.
