first thing you need is a quality electrical multi meter. no cheap chit. next, find the main plug thats located a few inches off the mag, near the recoil. unplug it. on the mag side of the harness, connect one meter probe to the white/green wire terminal and the other to the white/red. spec is 203 ohms. this is for the pulsor coil. next, one probe to the brown terminal, other to the black/red. should be around 421 ohms resistance. last is the brown/red to black. around 97.2 should be your reading. all numbers are +/- 10%, and taken at 68 degrees F. ask more more info if needed.
