A guy I work with will sell his Arctic Cat, thunder cat 1000, 2001. Only 4000 KM on it. I saw the sled 2 years ago and it looks like new, with the poor winter here, he only ride 400 km since I saw it. I was wondering how much this sled worth? He asking 2800$ (can), but I'm pretty sure I can get it for 2500 or less... I hope. [;)]

I only take insurance with the trail passes. Its a lot cheaper than throw you pennies for a 6 years old sled. Don't know for the U.S side, but here the insurance cost is affect by the engine cc's. more cc's = more $

I would jump on that sled. My wife's 1997 ZRT 600 with 5000 miles was $3000. If it is really in good shape, you are getting a good price for sure!

Boy prices do vary!Last year,in Jan. I bought a 2001ZL800esr with 1100 miles,mint shape for 3100.It was a tough decision,between that and 2 others 2002 ZR600efi.2000miles asking $3500.,, and a 2002 ZL500 carbs 435mlies asking $2900. Perhap the metro areas are more competative?
