My pops has been a photo buff for basically ever, and just made the commitment to digital. He got a Nikon D80 a couple weeks ago (10 megapixel semi-pro DSLR http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond80/). I may have to see if I can snap some good pics with it!
