Ok i put my skid frame in my 1997 zr 440 l/c and now the damn track en gauges at 1200 rpm! It supposed to engauge at 5500 to 6000 rpm! Is it cause that my track might be to tight? Or what? i need help!

what kind of sled did that skid come out of? maybe its to tight like you said..did all the mounting holes line up? or did you have to drill new ones??

shouldnt have anything to do with the track or the skid. if it is engaging at 1200 rpms it is probly a weak primary spring, or the wrong size belt. regardless of the track or skid, its the clutch that does the engaging. and 5500-6000? dont know why you would want that type of engagement anyways, unless you are grass dragging.
