I make sure the cables are set correctly, then back off the idle screws till they just touch the slides at this point I have a drill bit which is just the right size that i got from trial and error and I adjust all the srews so the drill bit just fits under the slides. If you have no drill bit you just turn in the screws evenly 1/2 turn at a time till you have your 1800 rpm.

Whats the proper idle rpm for a '89 MX 462??

Also, does anyone know why my sled bogs a little when u gun it at about 30km/h?? and sometimes the throttle sticks at 4000rpm and makes a weird noise. Any ideas??
