BRING ON THE WHITEOUTS!!!!!!
eewww!! kalkaska I had a bad experience there last memorial day. A group of 6 of us went up to my buddies uncles cabin. It was near big bear lake I think. It was way back in the woods and there was a trail leading a mile through the woods to the main route. We rode quads all weekend there. the first day we received 3 tickets. Turns out we were not supposed to be riding the utility gas line trails, ooppss!! And I had my Ranger out there running trails too. I took those whooped out trails at around 50mph. I got alot of weird looks, but nothing broke on my truck. The sheriff was a dick he soht out of the tree line, you could tell he caught alot of people right there, and then he had to go to another call and didn't give us any maps. After a good night of drinking and bull shitting a couple guys decide to go out Sunday morning to ride. They ended up receiving 2 tickets for being on a horse trail!?! But this guy was nice he gave us maps. But also he wanted to take one guy to jail cause he was from Indiana and we didn't have 50 bucks on us for bail. the other guys came back to camp and we rounded up some money for the DNR man. then way out in the middle of bfg I was riding with 2 other friends, well one guy was a slower rider so me and my buddy took off racing turn to turn. We continued on for a good half hour and then stopped to wait for eric to catch up, another half hour went by and we decide to back trek a few miles. we finally found him, he ran out of gas. He also had to crap bad and ended up using his bank statement for TP! So if anyone finds a banck statement for eric m off a trail, you better wash your hands! It took a good 2 hours to tow his quad all the way back to the cabin. We ended up leaving monday morning. The trails and scenery were awesome. But the law sucks! They msuty have seen us coming. I think we'll all be back next year.
