I have taken my sled apart before and when I went to put it back together Ive had extra parts.

Here is a site that will show you where every part goes. It has helped me out alot.

And for those Polaris people I found this site a while ago. It is not to bad but the repair manual is much better from what I hear:

I laughed when I saw this topic...my first thought was,
"then you know you've done it right".....[lol]
as long as that stuff isn't things like connecting rods or a clutch or something.

I think most of you know about this one, but here's a link to the PDF parts manuals at the Polaris site, the 04 ones have not much more than specs yet though.

Now why can't Polaris list the 1996 model year???? Anyway, good link 500FasEnuf. I found another link for 1995 - 1997 Polaris. The clarity of the pictures of the parts are a bit better:

This is the same place that Xc Special listed for Yamaha.
