The two sleds I just purchased only have Michigan registrations on them good through the end of 2007.There was no title on either and I only received a bill of sale. What the best, longest most cost effective way for me to legally sled in IL, WI and MI?

Pay the $18 fee to register it in IL. Then when you go to WI or MI pay the $18 or $25 for the non resident trail permits. Thats what I do.

Best way is to buy the 2 year wi reg for $30. The way the monies are handed out the trail fund get more money with the $30 2 year fee than the $20 1 year trail permit.

To ride in MI all you have to do is get the trail permeit(1 year $25) after yours expire. Not sure what Il costs.
