I just recently installed filters on my 89 indy 500 and no jet changes were specified but when i get on it full throttle she bogs out and catches up then bogs out again, should i jet up to make up to all the air being let in with the new filters? if so, is one size enough? the filters are UNI SNO PODS

if you changed from the stock airbox to individual clamp-on filters, you must rejet.

start with main jets six sizes larger than stock and go from there.

you will probably end up somewhere between three and six sizes larger than stock.

Take the filters off and put your airbox back on.
Filters look cool, thats about it. Pods should only be used in racing applications
They suck in warm air from the engine compartment vs, the colder air from the airbox.
You will need to do alot of tuning to get them right. Its not a matter of just chenging the main jets.
