Hello all...just a quick ?..Just put a DG silencer on my 1993 XLT SP and it sounds great just wondering if there is anything else i need to do or is it a bolt on and go part..thanks for the info

MOst of the time, any pipe modification, including all new pipes or just silencers make the engine run hotter. Thus you usually have to go to a little richer jet. I have SLP triple pipes on my XLT that added 18 hp, and i had to go to a richer jet. best thing to do is to call DG and tell them what you have, they will want to know elevation and then they will tell you what jets to run.

Need some darn snow people.

Just run it good and hot on a trail then stop shut off while hot and pull the plugs(all) see if they are burning correctly then you'll have the best test. I have EGTs on mine that tell me when I'm getting too hot, thus lean.
