Alright so I picked up this 1990 Indy 650 triple on a trade a couple weeks ago. I traded a blown up arctic cat I didn't like in the first place for it so to me it was a good deal. I took the old engine of it because it was running 125 pounds of compression from each cylinder. So I picked up a new engine on a cheap deal with 160 pounds in each cylinder. I pulled the carbs off and cleaned them (38mm round slide mikunis) and the question I have is that this sled has 3 individual pipes which I would prefer over one single pipe do to better engine performance. But what jetting and carb adjustments should I be doing to run this engine effectivly? I know running three pipes can lean out the mixture but should I be increasing my jet size? Where should my high speed jets be set at and where should my idle jets be set at? I would just like to get my mixture right so I don't burn up the engine
