I picked up a tethered kill switch the other day. Its new appearently from a Ski Doo. I'd like to put it on my 95 XCR.

Can I run it on the same circuit as the kill button or do I need to run it seperatly? The polarity is...when the tether is attached, the circuit is open or there is no conductivity through the switch.

When the tether is pulled off, the circuit is closed and current runs through.

Any takers!

Run it PARALLEL to any other kill switches. Your ignitions system works like this:

A tether SHOULD operate open when the plug is on, and should be closed when teh plug is off. Unless your skidoo one is backwards...

For polarises
open - run
closed - kill

If all switches are parralel, then if one fails, it doesn't matter. Also, that means only one switch must be turned off to kill, not multiple ones.
