Does this look like the factory exhaust for my 99 700 rmk, I can't find any stamping saying otherwise, but it sure doesn't sound factory to me its loud and has more of, "crackle" if you will.

Looks stock to me. I have a 99 SKS 700, looks just like mine. The can may have been hollowed out, making it louder.

Factory. The early 600 & 700s were loud. Polaris changed the can in 2000.

I had the same sled. The exhaust is loud! It's just the way it is. it had a dynoport silencer when i bought it, so i bought a used oem one off of craigslist to bring the sound down, but it made no difference. It's loud and deep. I wish I could get my new sled to sound like that sled!

well, lets take a trip to my other topic, i posted wondering if i could use a cat triple regulator in mine, and i was told i would be just fine, i put it in and it solved my dim headlight issue for the day or to before the burnt out, am i not safe to use the regulator? also i am running sylvania superwhite lightbulbs, (they have a blue coating on them, kind of the cheapmans HID), if this would make a difference
