You can pretty much put any suspension in any sled with alot of measuring and fabricating. But the choice of putting the xtra10 instead of the xtra12 I believe is sleds center of gravity with the xtra12 is a little top heavy and has a tedancy to tip a little more in the corners. I believe you will get a better overall performance with the xtra10. Thats my experience with riding sleds with xtra10 vs xtra12.
The tracks angle of attack was terrible on the xtra-12 really steep (trenched) at least the ones that I have ridden with. But they did have a nice plush ride. In an older sled I would go with the xtra-10 it should be a huge improvement
