I was reading a article about upgrading an older indy with Xtra10 and was wondering why not go with Xtra12 can it be done or not?

You can pretty much put any suspension in any sled with alot of measuring and fabricating. But the choice of putting the xtra10 instead of the xtra12 I believe is sleds center of gravity with the xtra12 is a little top heavy and has a tedancy to tip a little more in the corners. I believe you will get a better overall performance with the xtra10. Thats my experience with riding sleds with xtra10 vs xtra12.

The tracks angle of attack was terrible on the xtra-12 really steep (trenched) at least the ones that I have ridden with. But they did have a nice plush ride. In an older sled I would go with the xtra-10 it should be a huge improvement

I'll havr to agree with the above post that the Xtra-10 would be the better choice, for the same reasons.
