I haven't had much to report lately as the weather hasn't cooperated. But it now has been snowing steadily for most of the day and it is supposed to continue. So we now have decent rideable trails in the area.

Trails are still open but ungroomed. Snow is really falling regularly now though and hopefully we should have enough soon to begin grooming. Currently Ishpeming area trails are in poor to fair shape but very ridable. Once you go a few miles out of Ishpeming and start hitting the other trails in the woods it gets a lot better. Talking to some riders just today it sounds like trails in the woods have a decent packed base and since they have seen little traffic they remain in good riding condition. I would say its pretty decent riding in the area right now.
