Hey

I have a 98 FormulaZ 670 with a few mods (head shaved to .065 squish, 501 rotary valve, case ported) but i am running stock air box, pipe and carbs.

I just got the engine so i haven't had a chance to properly jet it but i want to run a Tempaflow to keep the engine safe. What are people running tempaflow's finding with modded engines ? Should i stick with stock setting and just jet down to the Tempaflow recommended -29 temperature ?

How do you jet with a Tempaflow on a mod engine ?

Thanks for any advice !

Everything I have read and been told by barry is to start with the -40f jetting and then tune the screw from there. You still need to do all of your normal jetting checks. It is not a cure all. You have to be careful when starting a cold engine(ie. rest stop). Need to let it warm up a bit to recompensate.
