i have a 97 polaris xlt special and i just bought psi tripple pipes they have no silencer and im wondering what the jetting would be and also i have the 38mm carbs on mine not the 34mm carbs
No, they are not SLP pipes. Just call PSI (920)622-4200 and ask for to be transferred to their tech line. Let them know you have different carbs. They have always been great at answering questions for me. Usually they suggest 2 jett sizes larger, but it only takes a 5 minute call.
Watch piston wash and plug readings!
By the way don't call around noon (lunch time)I don't think they answer the phone then.

Read some of my posts. A lot of guys say that the XLT is a good engine to leave stock, they have a lot of crank problems and adding horsepower increases your chances of a very expensive repair.
well i know have about 5,100 mile so im going to completely rebuild it in the fall and drill out the oil hole for the pto side, im going to do wisco pistons and have the crank redone and im thinking about the double row bearing on the pto side but im wondering if its nessasary to do the double row bearing cause my plans are the tripple pipes, slp heads and and slp air box any sugetions would be great thanks
You need to talk to TriumphoverU, Rocket, Ripperd, Junior, Dunior or Madcow. I'm sure there are other guys with lots of "real" performance engine experience but I can't remember em all. So if I left somebody out sorry, but help polaris600 out anyway.
