i know neoprene works great. i wear my scuba gear when it gets real cold, dont have to wear much of any thing else sweat like a pig. The problem is ive always worn a factory jacket over top. The wind could be a problem without. The other problem is the cost... if i didnt get them through work im not sure id wanna pay the $780
