I myself have never heard of those brand of shocks either.....

I put a set on my EXT when I got it. The shocks it came with were flat. Almost threw me over the handlebars. They seemed great for the price but I've no idea how long they will last. One season for sure!
But for the price, Kimpex, you can get 3 sets before it adds up to one RydeFx

$.02

Shoxs that throw you over the handle bars are not great. My dad's(now my) XCR 600 used to do that to me. First time it happened I was doing 80 through a field hit a bump landed and almost went over. He put new springs and a new shock on now its a lot better. Those shocks are ok though. I was gonna throw a set on my other sled that is now out of commission. They are cheap and I am sure will work fine.
Tree Toad, do you race? What kind of sled is it? If it's just for pleasure riding and it's not too high performance of a sled then you should be ok wth Kimpex.

If your not looking for the ultimate ride, and the life span of a toyota, go for the cheap ones. For the price of good shocks, you can make a few mistakes with the cheap ones.

thanks for the replys on the kimpex pro gold shocks, as for what I ride it's a 1997polaris indy 500. I dont race it just groomed trails mostly and the odd drift jumping session. These shocks are available from Royal Distributing which is a sled and atv parts warehouse up here in the great Canadian north, ontario.
i use fox shox exclusivley! probably have to rebuild em next year though
