Ok, If your a snowmobile fanatic you MUST know of the blade snowmobiles and the redline sleds. We see these sweet knights of the snow on the internet and probaly drool on the screen. WHY HAVENT WE SEEN THIS BABYS ON THE SNOW? if they really want these sleds to move they should get them on the race tracks for snow cross and put them in the x-games hill climbs. These sleds are just balls to the walls boys... redline has a sled 1300cc 225hp. Why havent one of us taken a loan out and bought one of these sleds that own the snow... I think I know what I want for x-mas!

Plus, after reading about your barrel rolls and starter fluid nitros shots, I'm not so sure that redline is gonna last any longer than your 72.

I think i would be happy if I purchased one of these sleds. As far as performance, But how do they perform in the real world? I would be a bit concerned to head up to the great white north trusting my life to a sled that just has not proven it has stamina along with balls. Do you need to carry a parts catalog around if something breaks?

wryjoker,
That would concern me a little more on the Redline than the blade. The engine in the Blade is a Polaris. Should be easy enough to get parts and it has an M10 skid.
The Redline manufactures most of its' parts might be a problem if you didn't have a dealer close by.

Ok boyz! I think that the redline has to be a great sled... the base manufacturer produces frames on a large scale for Baja trucks, nascar and prolly just about any ballz to the wallz sport that utilizes the chassis! I would love to hop on that 1300cc, start that bad boy up... prolly needs a decompression valve to start the beast... straps my ballz to my legz and put the throttle to the bar baby. If your up north by the time you think you have a problem ur goin about 160 and u'll glide to the next city on the momentum from that damn thing... Ok next subject... why do u need a new truck? what are you gonna get for 15k? well a nice used truck... hmm maybe a 2wd ford ranger... im set with my 88 Fullsize GMC jimmy with a tow hitch, 350, and a heavy petal makin the mud tires rotate! ya i prolly will never get a sled like that but... DAMN would it be fun! niceorange... that 72 is still goin... the ignition broke but thats nuttin a pair of wire strippers, and a wire nut cant handle... ripped seat DUCT TAPE... well i rode home one time with the ski fastened to the spring by means of DUCT tape and wire ties... (never leave home with out them) i gave it to my dear cambodian friend that wants to ride it on the rice patties back home... its his first sled... damn was that thing fun...
im not getting out soon enough tho... broken ankle... 5 weeks damn that suckz just befor x-mas this year...

Well, I bought a Blade. I bought a used truck to tow it. Blades are not designed for racing. The M-10 is designed to be smooth more than for racing. I bought the longtrack with the 700 engine. It only weighs 442 pounds! I've already got an M-10, so I know I won't feel any bumps. Can't wait to try that new front end. Snowmobiling is what I love, so I went a little nuts. But I'm going to have a sh##load of miles this year, and I hope to have a lot of fun. People don't think that someone is nuts when they spend that much for a Harley, or even more on a Porshe. Hopefully, it will ride as good as they say.

I think the Redline is going to be about 12 grand, but you can't order one for this year. They are building last years orders this year. You might see one or two on the trail. As for the Blade, let's go up to the U.P. during the week. I'll let you ride it.

I want to ride every day, all day, as fast as I can.

Bladeguy,
Usually make 3-4 U.P. runs a year, tend to spend the rest of the time down state. Love to drive fast. Just got finished with the mods on the 02 600 xcsp. Would love to ride in front of, behind and, maybe on that blade once.

Maybe we can catch up this play season.
SW area is where the sled resides.

I'm not try to find my way out, I need to find the way in
