Since I've had the sled new, some minor mods=V-Reeds,Clutching,Leaned down a bit=Mains and needles, but still have problems keeping that middle cylinder hot.Runs great when it kicks in,but always lazy and pretty much shut down at low rpms when trailriding. No matter how many times the carbs are cleaned or synchronized,it always seems to ruin that way. When its hot lookout. I pretty much rely on the local shops for help.Any suggestions for a 65yr old, who's probably going too fast anyway.

i would check the compression in that cylinder. also check the coil for that cylinder. you can check the coil by switching it to another spark plug and see if it happens on that cylinder.
