I've been entertaining that thought for quite awhile, I just don't know how it would work with people being from all over, but we'll see what others have to say about it.

I'd be game....I think most people would be willing to drive a little bit at least. Just say the word.

Sorry B2SO, that trailer I got was a frame from and old camper trailer. It was only 7.5' X 16' when I got it, with the tandem axles. I just extended, widened, cleaned, painted and decked it.
Now I just get to USE it!!

OK great let's do it.
I'll host the ride at Lost Lake near Seward AK. Incredible deep powder riding, lots of mountain climbing.
Best time is Mid April. Lots of day light and killer views.
All we need is C130 to pick up you and your sleds and where in business.
Ok I realize that this is unrealistic but it is a great idea.

Some of the best riding in the lower 48 is in the UP of MI. That's were I'm gonna be the 27th - 30th of January.

300" of snow each year!!!!!

2000TCMC, I think that's a great idea. I don't need the Herc either.

If this is going to happen in MI WI or MN I am so there. Got a trailer lined up already for the year. Just hope the old Z24 has it in her. She is getting tired 199k on it last weekend.
Make it in New England, and I'll come. Maybe members of my club would like to ride too.
that always sucks... i wonder if i can.... i mean i wanted to.... i was gonna.... but then i shoulda... I WANT SNOW.... wait... I WANT A SLED THAT WORKS... well i found a place that sells old parts... mcnabbs im gonna give the 340 one last damn chance... LOL I WANT A 600!

I think we would need to have two seperate groups - New England and Mindwest. For the midwest group, it's hard to make an argument against the UP. Just need an lead for each group.

By the way 2000TCMC - I just might be game to flying up to Anchorage in mid April. Maybe we could get a few to go. Deep powder is right up my alley! Plus I have friends I could visit with in Homer.

I want to ride every day, all day, as fast as I can.
I agree with BladeGuy. But I think it would probably be more like 4 different groups. West, Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

That is a better idea...to break it out into sections. I would e totally game for an UP meet, I'm sure I could get at least 5 or 6 people to come with!

if we put a ride together and split it up intp sections, each section should have a photo album set up and that way we can share the fun... people stuck and such. The other day i was surfing on the net and i came across a place in russia.. yes a place in russia that guides trips across the tundra and the vast mountain powder of russian territory.. u get a sled with the package and its a week long most of russia.. woah i gotta find that site again i wanna save up!
