On my new (to me) 2000 xcsp 600, the key has the two switches, to run on regular fuel or premium fuel.
Im wondering what the difference is between the two, and when i change it?
Is it really as simple as when i put premuim gas in, flick to the premium switch, or something different?
thanks

Yes, it really is that simple.
the switch controls the timing of the spark.
to use premium fuel switch, the gas has to be at least 91 octane

Nice. Thanks for replying. Dont you get more horsepower when you do, due to the gas?
