I have a 2000 XC 600 and I'm thinking of streching it out to 136 or maybe more. I want to run a 1.5 inch track and I also want to roll the chaincase. My tunnel is shot anyway so this would be a good time to do it. Any tips out there for me?? I'm not to sure about SLP's rail extenders, I've busted stock rails before by jumping. How do they hold up? Anybody out there ever rolled a case?

I looked into it for my 99 500 XC, all I found out was that the rail extenders will bend as you said, I was told to find a use suspension out of a wrecked RMK or SKS and redrill the tunnel.

Here in Canada there is a parts supplier that has 3 - $1000.00 SLP rolled cases on sale for $99.00, what a deal, link below (on page 219)

When hell freezes over, we'll ride there too.

I don't like the looks of rail extenders myself. They always look like freaking sheetmetal tacked onto the back of your rails.
